Local Arkansas Court Closures
As courts across the country take measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, some are restricting access and altering their procedures. In many counties, civil and criminal matters scheduled for trial are being continued. But some local courts are proceeding with reduced cases.
If you have legal proceedings scheduled in any of the following, reach out to your attorney.
- Washington and Madison County Circuit Courts – Closed to non-essential business
- Benton County Circuit Court – Only emergency and felony matters are being heard
- Western District of Arkansas Federal Courthouse – All civil and criminal trials are continued
- Benton County District Courts – All Benton County District court dates (Arraignments, Plea/Discovery, Trials and Status Hearings) are being continued or reset
We understand the position you may be in without a timely resolution to your issue. Our team sympathies with this unfortunate delay, and we are committed to helping you find a solution.
